This is Piper. She’s a three month old pit bull puppy, and the light of my friend Lyn’s life. Lyn found her half frozen in a trash can when she was three weeks old with her siblings, Piper was the only one to survive. Ever since Lyn took her in, we’ve known little Piper is a fighter. Despite her hard start, she is a happy healthy puppy. She plays with her big sister Ivy, and cuddles her cat friend GG every day. Piper brings nothing but joy into everyone’s lives
On Saturday, Piper jumped off the back of the couch trying to play like her older sister and shattered her back left paw. Lyn took her to the vet and they told her treatment is $5,000. My friend recently got a new job and moved to a new home and can’t afford to pay for the treatment herself. If left untreated, at best Piper will have a limp for the rest of her life. At worst, her paw will get infected and she’ll be put down.
Lyn has started a Gofundme to help her pay for Piper’s treatment. Please help this little puppy, she’s been through enough already and Lyn is losing sleep over her treatment. Anything helps, even just spreading this post around. Please help Piper.

Can we please kill this idea that when you’re writing fanfiction there are certain things you shouldn’t write because of the fact it won’t be popular or because it won’t attract readers? Writing fanfiction isn’t like writing a book you don’t need to worry about how many people will read it or whether it will be well received as you don’t need to prove anything to anyone. Write for yourself, not for what an audience might want.
Want to write a fic about your fandom OC? Do it.
Want to write an indulgent self-incert fic? Do it.
Want to write a fic that completely throws all concept of canon out of the window? Do it.
Only ever writing for what an audience might want stifles your creativity. Write what you want to write even if you think it might be bad or that it might not make any sense with canon. The beauty of fanfiction in the internet age is you have free access to platforms. You don’t need to prove anything to anyone to get your work out there. Don’t be afraid to write completely self indulgent fanfiction and post it online. You may be surprised at how many people take an interest.
Don’t feel the need to constantly stick to cookie cutter fanfiction and that you can’t explore your own ideas. Write about your OC’s. Write that self insert fanfiction you’ve always wanted to write. Write what you want to write. Don’t always feel you have to write something that will be popular. Take time to write for yourself and don’t just always write for the wants of potential readers.
NOTE: one type of fold will rarely appear on its own – they interact with each other quite a bit! for example, spiral folds might define the outline of a pant leg, while the interior folds might be zig-zag folds.

I think we need to stop the husband/boyfriend thing of, “my wife/girlfriend is upset for no reason all the time lol she’s so emotional and crazy”
But I think we also need to stop the wife/girlfriend thing of, “I’m not going to tell my husband/boyfriend why I’m upset that will serve him right” or “if he actually cares he’d know”
Both promote not communicating and hurt the relationship and the significant other. How about we stop telling women they are over emotional for one. And two stop promoting not communicating as a punishment or means of getting your way. And stop expecting people to just “know” your significant other is only human.
