It’s easy to look at certain statistics (grades, money, followers, etc.) and compare yourself to others. You might see that they’ve achieved “higher success” than you. Maybe even in less time or more easily than you. And it can really suck sometimes.
But try to remember that while they are living their life, you are living your own. You may not be the best at everything you do (and neither are they!) but it is all part of who you are. Achievement is great, but the core of what we’re all looking for is happiness. And that starts with an appreciation for how far we’ve come and enjoying the moment while we’re living in it.
