good afternoon! genderbending implies that all characters are cis by default, and that you need to look/dress in a specific way to fit your gender. experimenting with character designs is great! but if it requires changing the gender of your character while still keeping them cis, it’s bad. literally just make your character trans. you get the same thing out of it, except it DOESN’T disrespect trans people. it’s also just more diverse and progressive.
