Here’s what’s going to happen. Once this stupid ass rule is in place, there are two possibilities:

1) Tumblr proceeds to stick with this rule that “haha horny illegal don’t show t.itties!” And thus drive most of the users off the site and nuke half the actually okay blogs because they’re relying on flawed bots. In the end, the site will probably die and some people are going to get fucked over (i.e: artists, s.ex workers) Certain tags, if not already, will be nuked for absolutely no reason (i.e: remember when they filtered the lesbian tag as nsfw entirely, I sure do!) and if the site manages to actually last it’ll be a broken barren land.

2) Tumblr last second will take back what they said and act like it never happened and still have a completely flawed website. There will still be a fuck ton of porn bots and other problems in the end and tumblr will do absolutely nothing to fix it.
