So a friend of mine told me how yesterday his coworker died on the way to work due to speeding and crossed a red light (she was late for the third time, so I’m guessing she was trying to avoid a write up). As soon as she crossed the light she was hit on the drivers side by a semi. The messed up part is that in less than an hour her table was cleared for a new worker. In less than 4 hours they had sent out the news that they are hiring. By the end of the day the hiring manager had contacted 4 people for an interview. Moral of the story is, these jobs don’t care about your ass. They will replace you in a snap. Don’t risk or waste your life trying to go above and beyond for a job that could care less about your wellbeing.
AGAIN. I see nothing about this side of the country on this site. PLEASE. Send as much as you can manage their way – support, money, whatever you can.
My hometown (Balikpapan) was literally accros the sea from this city. when this happened, some of my friends told me they could actually feel the earthquack from there.
It was started with 7,7 magnitude earthquack and continued with a 10-18 Feet tsunami. So far it’s been reported that 384 died and 540 Injured, research still continues.
My sympathy goes to the people from Palu, Danggola & Mamuju, especially to the families of those who have lost their lives, to the injured and to all who have been affected by this terrible disaster
HOLY SHIT. I hadn’t heard about this til just now. I’m sending my thoughts to everyone affected by the quake and tsunami and gonna donate some money. I hope y’all will do the same if you have a bit of time and money to spare. Help and generosity are clearly needed over there right now. ❤️❤️❤️
Pokemon world has skyscrapers, giant lasers and interdimensional travel but they can’t find the budget to put a simple road down so I can visit my grandma two towns over without having to survive 5 giant monsters’ worth of tall grass, smh
