Sometimes life can hard, but you are never alone ⤠what I have come to learn is that there is always a cheering section, even if you cant always hear them
Apparently this isnât a bad stereotype from sitcoms and that real women who do this exist.Â
Itâs not just women, Iâve dated women and guys who do this. Iâm not the kind of person who âfights forâ anybody – if they say that theyâre leaving, of course Iâll ask why and talk it through with them, but Iâm not going to buy a bouquet and appear at their door at 3am to try to get something from them that they said they didnât want to give. The amount of times that Iâve heard âIf you really loved me, youâd fight for me.â and Iâve been like âWell, if I really respected you and cared for you then Iâd want you to be happy, rather than wanting you to do whatever it is that I want you to do.â and they come out with âSo, what, you donât want to be with me?â and Iâm like âItâs not about what I want. If I wanted somebodyâs watch and they didnât want to give me the watch, I wouldnât just take the watch. This is no different.â and then they push and push like âJust tell me that you want to be with me and Iâll stay.â and Iâm like âIâm not going to do that, I want you to do what will make you happy.â and then I get called a heartless psychopath who never loved them and will never love anybody⌠so thatâs fun.

JustâŚdonât do this. This is bad. Communicate clearly, some people will think you actually mean what you say and others are struggling with social skills enough. If you want to stay, stay. Donât say ânoâ and expect someone to not respect your answer. Heck, why would you WANT someone to not respect your boundaries?
Stuff like this ruins the legitimacy of âNo means noâ and #MeToo.
Respecting verbally expressed boundaries: the simple, morally required thing to do when people are telling the truth; a huge bullet dodged in the rare case that they arenât.
Not to mention this is teaching people a horrible lesson: by doing this you’re teaching people that no doesn’t always mean no and that should NEVER be the case. Most of the time when someone says “no” they mean it and if you’ve taught people to push to get what they want they won’t accept that as an answer and that often leads to extremely dangerous situations.
Demon horns being broken halos from when they were angels.Â
Demons willingly grow their own halos, but never complete the circle to symbolize their rebellion against heavenâs strict order.Â
In addition to the second one, angels are GIVEN their halos rather than earning them. Demons like Lucifer rebelled for freedom and individuality, thus demon horns all look different compared to an angelâs boring halo.
Horns are useful tools, but if you join them into a circle they become useless badges of authority.
And the thing about wearing a badge is that you become a symbol of someone else. Youâre not you, youâre an extension of the entity whose authority youâre borrowing. You canât be yourself until you ditch it
