A Wisconsin mall Santa decided to handle one of the naughty list members early this year when a young girl told him her Christmas wish was for her stepdad to stop molesting her. He and four of his elves attacked the guy, who was waiting nearby, and pummeled him unconscious.
An eyewitness recalled, “Santa didn’t say nothing. He just grabbed the back of the guy’s skull and headbutted him REAL hard.” The witness continued on to say, “Then Kringle got on top of him and just started pummeling him. He was laughing and screaming ‘Ho! Ho! Ho! Motherfucker!’
I actually like the “throwing clothes at it” better cause now I’m picturing Grandma stomping out of the house at 3 AM in her slippers, arms full of clothes and facing down this horrible, snarling beast.

Companies owned by Andrew Marquess, a well-connected Winnipeg developer, allege in court documents newly obtained by PressProgress that the 49 defendants participated in a “trespassing campaign” on the wetlands. Marquess claims this forced him to build a fence, install flood lights and hire a private security firm to “conduct surveillance” on the Indigenous and environmental activists.
Those defendants say Marquess is seeking “damages potentially in excess of $500,000” – a move they warn could have a chilling effect on peaceful protests.

Being condescending isn’t going to help the cause.
I don’t frankly care if its condescending or not, its the truth.
Its frustrating pouring a lot of effort into this blog, and seeing posts about serious issues being routinely ignored. These are issues that are important enough that if they were happening in the USA in the same frequency would get thousands of notes, but because they’re about Canada rarely get more than 100.
If it takes 1 condescending post now and then to vent my frustration for people to finally pay attention? So be it.
I’m cool with condescending, because how many condescending jokes about our health care and being nice and the way we say the vowels “ou” have we had to fucking sit through?
Maybe Canadians are done with being nice all the time. It’s hard getting attention for issues when you’re living next to a literal dumpster fire.
