Im sorry if this doesnt have anything to do with my blog but my cat had been seriously injured (i have no idea if it was hit-and-run or someone legitimately hit him) and i need every help i can get to pay for his medical fees because i cant afford it. (Some nerves at his leg has been decapitated).
I’d appericate any help you guys can give, whether it be a dollar or a reblog. I’ve been super busy with university life and most of my time is spent on studying but please, if you do not want to donate, please do commission me.

Baby still tries to stand on his broken leg (and he has blood transfusion on his right leg) and meows loudly when i came to visit him today and im honestly still crying so hard rn idk for how long im gonna make him wait and suffer like that 😭😭

Okay, head’s up. This little critter is called a slow loris. NEVER TAKE ONE AS A PET. They’ve experienced a boom in popularity as pets in parts of Asia and then the rest of the world, and this is not okay.
Why?
A) They’re endangered
B) They’re venomous. The only known venomous primate, to be exact. They store it in their inner arms.They’ll get in defensive posture, suck the venom from their glands, and them bite. And the bite can kill a human. (Seriously, one nipped Lady Gaga in Feb 2014 when she thought it would be a good idea to use one in a music video. They dropped that idea, thankfully.)
C) They’re endangered directly BECAUSE OF THE EXOTIC PET TRADE
D) When the poachers trap them, THEY CLIP THEIR FUCKING TEETH TO MAKE THEM “MANAGEABLE.” Many slow loris’ will die before ever being sold because of complications with HAVING THEIR FUCKING TEETH CLIPPED. (There’s a reason the loris’ in the videos are only eating soft foods…)
E) The exotic pet trade on slow loris’ BOOMed because of youtube videos like the one above.
And please make it very clear to everyone who thinks these videos are cute, that the animal in question has been stolen from it’s natural habitat and horrifically abused just so it could be a “cute” pet.
There are a lot of absolute idiots in the comments saying things like “a good dog will never hurt a baby” and “the child is never to blame if the dog attacks” and “special snowflakes call everything abuse”
Listen here you fucktards: dogs. Are not. Fucking. People. They don’t operate by human logic. They don’t follow human moral codes. It has nothing to do with it being a “good dog“ or not. If you were getting hit and pulled on and punched and scratched constantly, you just might react. A dog can’t speak up and say “hey please stop that you’re hurting me“. What he can do is move, lunge, bite, etc. These actions might intentionally or unintentionally harm your child. Use your fucking head and don’t let your kid beat up on your dog no matter how many times he’s “taken it” before; you never know when he might snap. Don’t teach your kids it’s OK to treat animals like punching bags and they’ll never react. That’s immensely unfair to both the animal and the child. You could have a hurt or dead child and a euthanized dog because you were fucking dumbass who thought the dogs were just there to be treated like toys.
Same goes for cats and any other pet. Teach your child how to properly treat animals or don’t have any fucking animals.
look if a person is constantly hurting me i’m gonna snap back at them. don’t expect animals not to do the same.
When I was a kid there was this old cat I used to pick up and carry, but I guess I was doing it wrong by picking the cat up by the stomach area. The cat would meow and my mom kept telling me, “Put that cat down, you’re hurting him!”
Well one day my mom saw me pick the cat up by hugging its tummy area again and it was the day the cat finally had enough. It hissed at me and scratched the hell out of my arm. I screamed that the cat was mean, and my mom was like “No, YOU were mean! The cat told you and you didn’t listen.”
The meowing was the cat saying “Owww, you’re hurting me!” in cat-ese.
Animals have body language and signals. They give warnings. We’re the silly humans who don’t ‘speak’ their language and miss them, then we blame the animals when they defend themselves.
My mom didn’t get mad at the cat for scratching me. She got mad at me for being a doofus.
And guess what? I have never picked a cat up by hugging it around the belly since!
