situations in the donkey kong country cartoon that the writers apparently thought were worthy of musical numbers

• a kremling is sad because he doesn’t have any friends and dixie consoles him
  
• cranky kong explains what a hologram is to dk and why a hologram can’t push a button
  
• diddy helps dk realize that he’s a robot now. this one sounds suspiciously similar to daft punk’s around the world
  
• diddy is having trouble speaking so dk and funky kong have him play charades so they can find out what’s wrong. diddy’s gesturing is accompanied by a saxophone solo
  
• cranky explains the symptoms of kongo bongo gone wrongo disease to candy and dixie
• king k. rool threatens to drop diddy off of a cliff if dk doesn’t give him a crystal coconut. this one was a rap battle
• this is later followed up by another rap battle in which dk tries to convince k. rool that the cyrstal coconut is cursed so he can take it back
• dk and some kremlings are sad that they can’t go to dk’s wedding so dk teaches the kremlings how to square dance
