in the light of the newest tumblr purge, a lot of sfw content has been unjustly flagged by tumblr as explicit. all of us are here sharing the screenshots of this small dick energy. if you see a post that has been wrongfully tagged, take the time to shoot the OP a quick message (or send them an ask if they have their DMs closed) and link them the post you saw because while staff said they’d be notifying the OPs if their post got flagged, it’s not happening to all of us. my edits, for example, got flagged on accident and I didn’t get an email. I would have never known had I not seen a screenshot of my gifs. please help your creators out in this dumbass time.

Please let me know if you see any of my stuff flagged. I do not post NSWF content but in the last tumblr purge some of my stuff got tagged as “sensitive content”.

Like. I’m a firm believer that porn online shouldn’t be within kids reach (those “are you 18” checkboxes for life) but. Like. Ok first of all, just ban cp? It’s not hard? Cp is what got you into this mess just ban it. Second of all, you could increase the age of sign-up from 13 to 18. Third of all, you could do what deviantart does and just. Require birthdays at sign-up. If your blog is flagged as nsfw, you can’t interact with minors. You want to follow an nsfw blog? Prove you’re an adult. You’re an adult but don’t want to see nsfw content? Safe search (that actually works).

It’s not hard to make a functioning website, but staff doesn’t seem to want to do that.

i consider tumblrs tagging system one of its biggest advantages over twitter but another huge one is just how you can like. write a post like a regular human being w/o worrying abt a strict word count. like thats obnoxious right

twitter: i have to carefully curate my words and if i wanna say anything longer i need to make it a thread where ppl can only rt bits and pieces and its like a slideshow but stupider

tumblr: i hit new post. i write the post. i hit post. its the whole post. people reblog it
