tips for everyone who wants to get leakira trending and/or on fandometrics:
make sure the ‘leakira’ tag is within the first 5 tags on the post/rb to ensure it shows up on not only the leakira tag itself but on recommended posts for others as well
tag klance with both klance and leakira, and tag leakira with both leakira and klance, too. it will help leakira show up in more tags than just itself
make your own headcanons or art! it doesn’t matter if it’s perfect. the whole point of this is that it’s outside of canon and fan made so create to your heart’s desire!
like and reblog from the artists/writers/ect. creating leakira content! spread it as much as possible! go to the leakira tag and reblog some of your favorite posts (don’t forget to tag when you reblog!)
if you’re really dedicated, maybe make a sideblog with ‘leakira’ somewhere in the url, having ‘leakira’ in the url will make the content you create or spread come up easier under the tag

We are a Voltron Legendary Defender reboot. Our goal is to recreate a world of Voltron that echoes the original, but is something new altogether. It’s a common consensus that as a fandom, the VLD crowd always preferred fanon to canon, because we saw the potential that VLD had. This project is an attempt to bring that to fruition.
Cool. There seems to be a lot of those going around.
There are! And that’s great! We support all reboots, fix-its, and exploratory works. In fact, if you have created your own reboot comic, fic, art, or animation, shoot us a message! We want to add you to our resources page as a link so people who are looking for other reboots can find you.
Doesn’t that mean there’s a lot of competition?
My sweet, sweet summer children, no. It could be that we are on the precipice of change. For some reason, the Voltron fan base has an incredible amount of power. I truly believe that if we harness that power for good, if we generate and keep generating fan content, we can prove to media corporations that:
It’s possible to tell stories that include people of color and LGBT+ characters and themes and still reach a massive fanbase.
What we think matters. What we want matters. Who we are matters, and you can’t keep ignoring us forever.
We are the future of storytelling. Can you imagine the impact of a fan created work, or a collection of fan created works that outstrips the original content? A new age is coming.
How much is this gonna cost?
It’s free and always will be. We have a ko-fi open, and will be opening up a patreon page in the future for those wishing to see perks, but you will not have to pay any money to enjoy Voltron New Age content.
Also, please be wary of any kickstarters you see! Be smart with your money, please!
So, how is this gonna work?
Here’s how it’s gonna work: we are going to have different stages of production releasing content at the same time. First up, we have a writer, who is telling the story in prose. There’s a good portion of it written, and we’ll start posting that on a schedule soon! Then, we have a screenwriter who will be adapting that for media format. That will be kept mostly under wraps, but we’ll leak certain parts. From there, we’ll start up a podcast, where we have actors reading the lines and at the same time have storyboard artists making sketches to post along with them.
We’re gonna be really honest here, animation takes a lot of work, and this is a fan project. Depending on how well we do and our outreach, and if we have a team that can handle the workload, we’ll toy with animation. But that is a long long way off, and might not happen.
What we’re working towards is a more sketch animation. Pictures that are stitched together with the voices over top. We are pledging to get the first “Season” out this way, no matter the reception. But hopefully, we’ll have enough feedback that we can keep going from there!
